I was given the opportunity to work alongside a team of motion designers to create the visual identity for the upcoming Knicks season, particularly for the Madison Square Garden scoreboards. The branding tagline we designed our look around was “Timeless, Authentically New York, and Iconic.” A key goal was to translate characteristics of New York such as the subway, the skyscrapers, the grittiness into a branding look for the team.
